RAYTHEON TO PROVIDE OPERATIONAL SUPPORT FOR USAF COMMAND AND CONTROL SWITCHING SYSTEM
WASHINGTON - Raytheon Co, of Largo, Florida, has been awarded a not-to-exceed $344,335,000 firm-fixed-price requirements contract from the United States Air Force for the Command and Control Switching System.
Raytheon will provide logistics support for operational Command and Control Switching System to include contractor logistics support, spare parts replenishment, management of depot spares, technical manuals. It also includes a depot logistics support office, field logistics support offices, software support, engineering and technical services, system de-installation and re-installation for 100-200 platforms located worldwide.
Work will be primarily performed at Largo, Florida, and is expected to be complete by Dec. 31, 2019.
This contract involves foreign military sales to Canada. This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition.
The U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity. The contract award number is FA8218-15-D-0001.
