MADRID - The Spanish Army has unveiled its Tiger HA-28 HAD attack helicopters. Eurocopter manufactures this helicopter. The HA-28 is an updated version of the HAP version already in service with the Spanish Army.

The HA-28s carries the SPIKE-ER anti-armor missile. By 2017, the Spanish Army will have 18 HA-28 helicopters. This program will cost EUR1.5 billion.

These helicopters will belong to the Attack Helicopter Battalion 1, which is based in Almagro in the province of Ciudad Real.
