WASHINGTON - Raytheon Missile Systems has won another contract for production of the Tomahawk cruise missile. The new contract is worth $139.3 million. This award exercises an option for the procurement of 100 Tomahawk Block IV all-up-rounds. Work on this contract will continue through August 2017.

The U.S. has used Tomahawk missiles against targets in Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya. The United Kingdom also operates this missile system and could decide to expand the scope of its deployment within the Royal Navy's fleet. Raytheon is hoping to win new export clients.
