KYIV - The Ukrainian Army will soon adopt a new locally produced anti-armor missile system. Ukraine has not revealed any details on the Alt missile system, but local press reports claim the missile will use a dual-mode guidance system.

Meanwhile, France will help Ukraine to upgrade its fleet of Mi-24 Hind attack helicopters. Ukroboronprom, Ukraine's state-run consortium, will cooperate with SAGEM on this project. The upgrade will allow these helicopters to operate in any weather during day or night.
