CAMCOPTER UAV HELPS TO RESCUE MIGRANTS

VIENNA - A Camcopter unmanned air vehicle (UAV) helped to rescue migrants in distress at sea. Schiebel manufactures the Camcopter S-100 UAV. The UAV is supporting the Migrant Offshore Aid Station (MOAS) foundation.

The MOAS is a registered non-profit organization based in Malta and owns a 40-meter-long vessel named Phoenix. This vessel is used for the rescue of refugees at sea. The Camcopter is stationed aboard this ship.
