BERLIN - France and Germany are increasing defense cooperation and could finally move ahead with the development of a new medium-altitude, long-endurance (MALE) unmanned air vehicle (UAV).
Berlin and Paris plans to sign a technical agreement on the development of a European MALE UAV. Italy will also be involved in this project. A feasibility study will begin soon. The agreed aim is to complete the UAV's development by 2025.
