SINGAPORE AIR SHOW - Bombardier Commercial Aircraft's Q400 NextGen turboprop airliner will combine a visit to Singapore Air Show 2010 with a demonstration tour of several countries in the Asia/Pacific region during the month of February.
The aircraft - in the colors of Latvia's airBaltic - has been on display at the air show since February 1 and will depart later this week for the demonstration tour. Launched in March 2008, the Q400 NextGen turboprop airliner is the most recent development in the evolution of the Q400 aircraft, and the advanced successor to the Dash 8/Q series family of aircraft.
The Q400 NextGen aircraft features an enhanced cabin environment with the introduction of LED lighting, new ceiling panels, dished window sidewalls, larger overhead luggage bins, and an Active Noise and Vibration Suppression (ANVS) system.
