ZHUKOVSKY, Russia - Iran Air Tours signed a contact with Russia's Ilyushin Finance company at MAKS 2007 air show on Wednesday to buy five Tu-204 planes.
The contract was signed by Director-General of the Ilyushin Finance company Alexander Rubtsov and Seid Mehdi Sadegi, the executive director of Iran Air Tours, the subsidiary of the national air carrier, Iran Air.
The delivery of five Tu-204-120C cargo planes in the export version with Rolls Royce engines is scheduled for 2009. The total sum of the deal is $200 million.
The Tu-204-120 plane in cargo and passenger versions was certified in late 2005. Egypt, China and TNT European transport company bought some two dozen planes in both versions.
